Shikha Joshi CERF Benefit Workshop

“Working with Wild Soils” An online workshop in collaboration with Companion Gallery, a fundraiser for CERF

When: December 8th, 3 PM CST

100% of the funds raised from this workshop will be matched dollar for dollar by a donor (up to $10K) and the entire sum will be donated to Cerfplus to help fellow artists who have had their lives upended by hurricane Helene.

This two hour long online workshop will be a combination of lecture and demonstration where we will focus on wild soils and learn all about using wild soils and crushed rock to create surface variation in cone 6 oxidation. Details about the workshop.

We’ve all seen the shocking images showing the scale of destruction caused by hurricane Helene in the Western North Carolina region but what makes this one hit so close to our hearts is that it has directly affected the lives of so many of our fellow potters and friends who call that area their home. Please direct any queries to: companiongallery@gmail.com

If you are unable to attend the live workshop, all participants will receive a recording with 30 day access. Thank you.
