Alejandra Almuelle

Born in Peru, where clay is a deeply ingrained artistic tradition, Alejandra Almuelle developed a profound connection to this medium. While she began exploring clay in Peru, it was in Austin that she truly honed her skills, dedicated to both the functional and sculptural aspects of ceramics.

Almuelle’s work has been featured in institutions such as the San Angelo Museum of Art, Elisabet Ney Museum, Mexic-Arte Museum, Red Lodge Ceramic Clay Center Gallery, Companion Gallery,  Wayne Center for the Arts, Women and Their Work Gallery, Cloud Tree Gallery, Rock-port Center for the Arts, Hunt Gallery, Webster University of St. Louis, Mo, Big Medium Gallery, Long Center for Performing Arts, Centro Cultural Aztlan among others.
